A Bit About Me
My natural curiosity, positive attitude, and tendency to be solutions-oriented inform all that I do, from work to parenting to planning my next big adventure. Throughout my life, I have read anything I could get my hands on. After wandering through my 20s, my thirst for knowledge led me to college as a non-traditional student, earning dual degrees in the fields of history and anthropology, focusing on race, gender, and policy. I took this information and earned a master's degree in Public Administration from California State University and a certification in evaluation practice from Claremont Graduate University. I have worked in small business, corporate America, university offices, state government, and federally funded programs.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I find immense joy and rejuvenation in the outdoors, whether it's hiking through scenic trails, camping under the stars, surfing the Pacific ocean, snowboarding the greatest snow on Earth, or exploring waterways through paddleboarding. I am an ambitious traveler, having visited every state west of the Mississippi and those south of the Mason-Dixon, and I am slowly checking off the eastern states.
